Church Planting

RUN International partners with Vie Abondante to plant churches in Niger.

There are currently 65 church plants across the nation, all pastored by nationals that have been trained in Vie Abondante. The goal of our ministry is for every church to be self supporting and have their own land and building.

Church plants typically begin in a thatch structure until the congregation is established and funds are available to build a more permanent building.

Our church planting model not only includes evangelism and discipleship but the purchase of land and buildings as well as strategies to help the pastor become self-supported. This includes farmland  for pastors, help to start small businesses and teaching the congregation the principles of tithing.
