RUN partners with Vie Abondante to support children through discipleship homes.
More than 50% of Niger’s population is under the age of 15, and less than half of those children attend school.
Poverty and terrorism are some of the main reasons school attendance is so low. The majority of the people in Niger live in villages, and many of the village schools have had to close because of the terrorism in those areas.
Heritage House, our newest home, is in Niamey, Niger where 42 children from villages with no access to education live and attend our Christian school. Most of them are children of the village pastors and church members.
Abraham’s Place, started and directed by Pastor Koyejo and Lola Amori, serves the Maradi region and has been operating since 2015.
These homes provide a family environment for the children and focus on personal discipleship, education, life skills training and development of individual talent.
We are equipping children who are brimming with potential to become leaders and godly influencers in their nation by training them to keep the way of the Lord, to serve, and to live with integrity.
